Hello there! I’m Carissa and I am the soul and passion behind LE LUXE BOUDOIR by Elk and Fir Photography. I have been photography beautiful souls for over 10 years now with Weddings and Boudoir under the ELK and FIR brand and now, I am ecstatic to present to you,

Intimate Women's Portraiture
Boudoir is a photographic style featuring intimate, romantic, and sometimes erotic images of its subjects, primarily intended for the private enjoyment of the subject and their romantic partners. It is distinct from glamour and art nude photography in that it is usually more suggestive rather than explicit in its approach to nudity and sexuality, features subjects who do not regularly model, and produces images which are not intended to be seen by a wide audience, but rather to remain under the control of the subject.

I also wanted to do this as a reminder that there is no such thing as a perfect body and since having two children mine has changed.

Conditions apply: This session fee payment is required to book your shoot and is non-refundable. Reschedules 21 days of your shoot will incur a $150 reschedule fee. It is however transferable if rescheduled prior to 21 days of your shoot. The session fee does NOT include any digital images or products. Your personal guide to the Le Luxe Boudoir process
During the consult you will discuss one on one with Carissa. We will be talking about YOU! Your why, style, personality, insecurities, styling, how ‘I’ pose my ladies without putting you in any awkward positions. I’ve also shared my guide below to help you better understand.
During your shoot we will pop on some music and as we start the shoot, you may not feel confident to start with but, as I show you some images, I assure you, you will relax and start to enjoy the shoot!!! I have the expertise needed to deliver an amazing experience, calm your nerves, and reduce your fears and anxiety while getting those killer shots. With the excitement of seeing the photo gallery!

The $349 session fee includes up to three hours of pampering, professional hair and makeup, 1 hour + photoshoot with Carissa, a private loft or studio, Private Online Gallery – password protected.
You are welcome to bring a number of outfits, but one piece is more than enough. You’ll have access to the LLB closet! A wardrobe of sheer tops, sloppy jumpers, white sheets and stunning robes from the likes of Honey Birdette and more! you will receive a variety of different looks, so you do not have to spend a lot of money on purchasing lingerie for this shoot! My style is rather more suggestive and romantic.

Booking Your Shoot
COMFORT EQUALS CONFIDENCE
We have NO EXPECTATIONS for your shoot other than turn up fresh and revived and ready to embrace YOU! There is no expectation when it comes to your attire! You do not have to wear sultry outfits with suspenders and the works. I love my “Bonds look” and I have in my wardrobe sloppy jumpers and more casual items! The men’s white shirt is a favourite too!
So, you just booked your boudoir session, yeah baby! You're feeling excited yet nervous because you've never done anything like this before and you're probably thinking..."this is so out of my comfort zone!" What you are feeling is completely normal...I can assure you of that! Every client that comes to me almost always feels exactly the way you do. I want to reassure you that I have your back and guidance during this session is my expertise! The

you feeling truly ‘Woman’.
Your session starts with hair and makeup by a professional stylist! Oh my love, you will be pampered! And you WILL feel amazing! Take this time to relax and sip on a cider to calm your nerves, or tea or coffee, whatever your vibe is for the day!
I will guide you from head to toe on what to do. I will demonstrate as I go. I assure you you do not have to know how to pose! You do not have to ‘act sexy’ - Leave it to me! And those nervous giggles… let me tell you are perfect to capture!

The Photo Shoot
Remember, this day of boudoir is all about you! After your session you will look and feel incredible! inside and out!. Do not waste it, make plans to go out with your girlfriends afterwards and tell them about your experience! With my referral bonus, a friend of yours is a friend of mine
About 10 days after your photoshoot, you can return to the studio for your ordering session. Or we do this via zoom. This is when you’ll have the chance to choose your favorite images from your proof gallery and what products you wish to order.
Your images will be 95% edited already.
Then Carissa will further edit your purchased photos, removing any blemishes and bruises. Most products take 2 to 4 weeks to deliver and you’ll also be able to download your purchased images from the online gallery of your photos. Wait till you see your Album in print!!!! It’s another whole level of WOW!
I have a collection for everyone, from my $1599 starter “BELLA” collection, with the average woman investing between $2500-$4500 on themselves.

There is so much pressure surrounding mums to "bounce back" or "lose the baby weight" and it's something I've really struggled with. I struggled with it after Asher and I told myself this time around I would have a different mind set, but it's harder than I thought.
My clothes don't fit the same, I haven't been able to exercise or play netball, I look in the mirror and I'm just not happy with how I look. When people ask how I am and compliment me on how good I look, I don't know what to say because I don't agree.
This is something I'm working on, I know I need to so I can set a good example for my children. I need to buy clothes that fit me, instead of trying to fit the clothes. I will get back into my exercise and netball and I start feeling like myself again. This will pass and I won't let it beat me.
These photos were taken back in 2019 and once I'm feeling a bit more confident in my new skin, I'll definitely be doing it again!

As I woke up today, I caught myself saying ‘I’m beautiful’. The first time in 39 years I’ve ever thought that let alone effortlessly. To think I almost wasn’t here to have this shoot with you due to illness. I now have THE most amazing photos I could have ever dreamed of. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea how much these photos mean to me. I’ve had the hardest 2 years of my life, but these photos are the celebration/the rainbow at the end, that will help me remember the hard times but also celebrate what amazing things can happen.
